The All-Satellite team was birthed back in 2010, with C.J. Spiller as the headliner. That was when the NFL was undergoing a shift to more spread-focused, pass-happy offensive attacks. Play callers were scouring the college ranks with help wanted ads for dynamic offensive playmakers in space. Hence, the birth of the All-Satellite team.
This isn’t about tackle-breaking power or contact balance. And it’s not about straight-line burners like Brenen Thompson (Mississippi State), Zavion Thomas (LSU), and Deion Burks (Oklahoma), who blazed the three fastest 40 times for WRs at this year’s combine (from 4.26 to 4.30) but don’t have the elusiveness to make this team. The focus here is on ankle-breaking, pursuit-angle turbines!
Odell Beckham Jr., Tyler Lockett, Christian McCaffrey, Lamar Jackson, Jaylen Waddle, and Jahmyr Gibbs are just a handful of the 100-plus names who have been featured on my All-Satellite teams over the past 15 years.
This year’s group is bound to add to this award’s rich history of explosive game breakers. Without further ado, I present to you my 2026 NFL draft All-Satellite team.
