Welcome back to The McShay Report! In some ways, day two of the draft played out how I thought it would. A few of my predictions from yesterday’s newsletter came to fruition—including just one running back being selected on Friday, quarterbacks Drew Allar and Carson Beck coming off the board, and a run on tight ends—but there were also some head-scratching selections and major surprises. In today’s newsletter, I’m going to share my 10 favorite picks from Rounds 2 and 3, as well as a few selections that were reaches based on my board.
Before we dive in, I want to say a quick thank you to everyone who watched our live Netflix coverage over the first two days of the draft. It’s been a blast working with Steve Muench and our entire crew out here in L.A., and we hope you’ve enjoyed following along.
We’ll be back with a quick day-three reactions pod tonight, and on Sunday for a full 32-team draft recap.

My favorite picks from Friday: The 10 player-team fits that I’m most bullish on.
The most questionable values from Friday: Four players I think teams should’ve waited to draft—and what I would’ve done differently.
Best available heading into Round 4: How far will Tennessee CB Jermod McCoy slide?
